ATTENTION - FIRST HOME OWNER GRANT APPLICANTS
From 1 September 2007, a new Western Australian first home owner grant (FHOG) application form identified by a version date of “July 2007” will be put in place.
The application form has been updated to incorporate past legislative amendments to the First Home Owner Grant Act 2000 and includes changes based on feedback from applicants, Approved Agents (e.g. banks and credit unions) and other professional bodies. The new application form also includes a new detachable lodgement guide which will assist applicants in completing the form.
Please note that all FHOG applications that have been completed using the old version of the Western Australian form (Form S231) must be processed by either the Approved Agent or the Office of State Revenue (OSR) by 31 August 2007. The FHOG On-line computer system will not be able to process old application forms after that date.
The new application form is available from all Approved Agents, the OSR or this website.
